| An 11-year-old boy was seriously injured as he was hit by a runaway trailer in Leicestershire. The incident happened when the trailer became detached from a green Toyota Hilux on Station Road in Old Dalby at about 0750 BST on Friday. A Leicestershire Police spokesperson said the child was in a stable condition at Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre. Officers appealed to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward. | ||
